DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION

§ 1 General

Your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law and the data protection laws of the European Union (EU). In addition to the processing purposes, legal basis, recipients, storage periods, the following regulations also inform you about your rights and the person responsible for your data processing. This data protection declaration refers only to our websites. If you are redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.

§ 2 Contact us

(1) Processing purpose

We process the personal data you provide us with by e-mail, contact form, etc. in order to answer and process your inquiries. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, we will not be able to reply to you by e-mail without your e-mail address.

(2) Legal basis

a) If you have given us your express consent to process your data, Art. 6 para. 1a) DSGVO is the legal basis for this processing.

b) Should we process your data for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 para. 1b) DSGVO is the legal basis.

c) In all other cases (especially when using a contact form), Art. 6 para. 1f) DSGVO is the legal basis.

RIGHT OF CONTRIBUTION: You have the right to object at any time to the processing of data which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1f) DPA and which is not intended for direct advertising, for reasons arising from your particular situation.

In the case of direct advertising, however, you may object to the processing at any time without giving reasons.

(3) Justified interest

Our legitimate interest in processing is to communicate with you in a fast way and to answer your inquiries at a reasonable price. If you give us your address, we reserve the right to use it for direct mail. You can protect your interest in data protection by passing on your data sparingly (e.g. using a pseudonym).

Your data will be deleted if it is clear from the circumstances that your inquiry or the relevant facts have been finally clarified.

If, however, a contract is concluded, the data required under commercial and tax law will be retained by us for the legally specified periods, i.e. regularly for ten years (cf. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO).

In case of processing, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time.

§ 3 Web analysis with Google Analytics

(1) Processing purpose

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this happens. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

(2) Legal basis

The legal basis for this processing is art. 6 par. 1 f) DSGVO.

(3) Legitimate interest

Our legitimate interest is the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes. In order to protect your interest in data protection, this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIP()”, so that IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude any direct personal reference.

Google Ireland Limited is a company affiliated with Google LLC. Google LLC is based in the USA (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043) and is certified for the US-European Privacy Shield, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

§ 4 Your rights as data subject

If personal data is processed by you, you are a data subject in the sense of the DSGVO and you have the following rights against us as the person responsible:

1. right to information

Within the scope of Art. 15 DSGVO, you can request information about your personal data processed by us.

2. right of correction

If the information concerning you is not (or is no longer) correct, you can request a correction in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO. If your data is incomplete, you can request that it be completed.

3. right of deletion

You can request the deletion of your personal data under the conditions of Art. 17 DSGVO.

4. right to limit processing

You have the right, within the framework of the provisions of Art. 18 DSGVO, to request a restriction on the processing of data concerning you.

5. right to data transferability

In accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided us with in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another responsible party.

6. right to revoke the declaration of consent under data protection law

According to Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO you have the right to revoke your declaration of consent under data protection law at any time. This does not affect the legality of the processing that has taken place on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

7. right to appeal to a supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is in breach of the DPA, you have the right to appeal to a supervisory authority (in particular in the Member State in which you are resident, your place of work or the place of the alleged breach) under Art. 77 DPA.

Please also note your right of objection under Art. 21 DSGVO:

a) General: justified objection required

If the processing of personal data concerning you

– to safeguard our overriding legitimate interest (legal basis according to Art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO) or

– in the public interest (legal basis under Art. 6 para. 1 e) DSGVO),

you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on the provisions of the DSGVO.

In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data concerning you unless we can prove compelling reasons for processing worthy of protection that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

b) Special case direct advertising: simple objection is sufficient

If the personal data concerning you are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object, at any time and without giving any reason, to such processing, including profiling where it is linked to such direct marketing.

If you object to processing for the purposes of direct marketing, the personal data concerning you will no longer be processed for these purposes.
